VenusBeast aka Toprak Basgit aka Yaprak Kirdok is a visual artist/printmaker and vinyl dj from Istanbul based in Cagliari. Yaprak plays synth in the Cagliari-based band Death to Acid, and we will also see her on the Festival main stage with her other band, Gentilesky, of which she is the singer. On the terrace of the Nivola Museum she will bring her post-punk, electro, EBM, darkwave and minimal wave DJ set.

She is the DJ alter ego of Colombian multi-instrumentalist and producer Maria Mallol Moya, aka Natura Morta. Her set is a fusion of electronica and acid fuzz, with cumbies intertwined with rainforest sounds and soulful beats that turn into vibrant sauces and disco bliss. A psychedelic journey through the best sounds of South America, mixing past and present to create a paradise of hypnotic rhythms that will have you dancing non-stop.
